General Meeting of the European Nail Society

1. Approval of the minutes of the last General Meeting in Vienna.
Approved without any comments.

2. MEMBERS
  • Number of Members:
    Since our last meeting, we have welcomed 6 new members: Jamie von Nida, Walter Morales, Adam Rubin, Takeo Arai, Nilceo Michalany and Federico Mailland.
    Two members have resigned: Hugo Degreef and Francois Truchetet.
    Several members have not renewed their membership after at least 2 reminders. At the moment, we have 73 members in order of payment.
  • Board composition:
    Sophie Goettmann resigned from the Board and for this reason we have a vacancy. Candidates interested in the position should contact Dr. Iorizzo. The name of the new Board Member will be announced in Berlin.

4. ENS MEETINGS
  • PRESENT: 17th EADV Paris.
    This year, the lunch has been offered by Polichem - Switzerland.
  • FUTURE MEETINGS:
    Berlin - October 7th, 2009. International Congress Centrum Berlin (ICC Berlin). Room to be defined. Time:13 to 17.
    You will soon receive the program and the call for papers.

5. ENS-WEBSITE - http://www.euronailsociety.org
It has been restored and now it works. You will soon receive an e-mail with a new user ID and password to log-in (sent only to members in order of payment).

6. GRANTS
It has been decided to give 2 grants (2000 euros each) to projects related to melanonychia.
"Surgery of melanonychia" and "Dermoscopy of melanonychia" are the 2 topics.
The application has to be sent to matildeiorizzo@gmail.com.
The ENS Board will decide if the projects sent are worthwhile.
The winners will have to give a presentation in 2010 at the ENS meeting (Gothenburg, Sweden).

ENS Membership
